Early Childhood Curriculum
A Strong Start in a Christ-Centered Community. Early childhood education grounded in faith, care, and excellence.
Our early childhood programs are an extension of Child of God Lutheran School. Since our founding in 2000, families have trusted us to provide a high standard of Christ-centered education. That same level of care and academic excellence is foundational to our preschool program.
Child of God Lutheran School is fully accredited by the Missouri Nonpublic School Accreditation (MNSAA) and the National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA), reflecting our strong commitment to high-quality education rooted in Christian values. As part of that commitment, our early childhood program follows curriculum goals outlined in the Missouri Early Learning Standards, which support developmentally appropriate growth in the areas of spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development. Children engage in a variety of teacher-guided activities along with meaningful opportunities to explore the classroom independently and with friends.

Why Choose Child of God?
Christ-Centered Learning from the Start
At Child of God Lutheran School, faith is part of every day. From preschool through middle school, students grow in God’s Word while building strong academic skills that prepare them for future success in high school and beyond. Our classrooms nurture a love for Jesus and a love for learning, shaping hearts and minds for a life of purpose, service, and confidence rooted in Christ.
A Safe and Supportive Place to Grow
Parents choose Child of God because they want more than just a school. They want a place where their child feels known, cared for, and encouraged every step of the way. Our teachers create a warm and welcoming environment where students thrive emotionally, socially, and spiritually, building meaningful relationships that help each child feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn.
Academic Excellence with Character at the Core
From early childhood through middle school, students are encouraged to think deeply, explore creatively, and grow with confidence. As Missouri’s first State School of Character, we integrate character development into every part of the school day. With small classes and caring teachers, each child receives the support they need to succeed academically and grow as kind, responsible, faith-filled leaders.
