The Beyond the Bell Program is a service provided by Child of God Lutheran School. Information on specific hours and costs, and enrollment forms are available from the school office.

Early Arrival

The front and back doors will be locked until 8:00 AM (while teachers are in morning devotions). Therefore, any unsupervised student arriving between 7 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. will be required to check into Beyond the Bell and the family will be assessed accordingly. Children may not wait unsupervised in the hallways before 8:00 AM.

Late Pick-Ups

All children not picked up by 3:30 p.m. will be checked into Beyond the Bell. Unsupervised students anytime during 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. will be required to check into Beyond the Bell and the family will be assessed accordingly.

Literacy – Heggerty Phonemic Awareness Curriculum, Fundations, Mat Man

Language

Comprehends increasingly complex language

Social Studies

Physical Education

Demonstrate gross-motor manipulative skills
Demonstrate fine motor strength and coordination
Understand directionality
Understand and respect personal space
Identify healthy foods and practices
Develop endurance in individual and group physical activities

Fine Arts

Represent objects, people, and events in works of art
Name and explore various types of art tools
Follow age appropriate instruction to complete projects
Use singing and movement to demonstrate awareness of tempo, rhythm, and pitch
Sing age appropriate songs from memory
Identify and differentiate between real and imaginary characters
Create and act out new or assigned roles
